Good Morning lovelies

It's a bit chilly in the South and the rain we have had the past week is chilling the bones!
Tis a pleasant time to be in by a roaring fire and sewing some Dollies while sipping hot coffee while the kitty snores beside me :)
I am in the process of adding some romantic shabby prim Victorian goodies to my Etsy shoppe and glad to be enjoying my love of creating again.  Here are the the two lovely gals I added this morning;;;

Hope you enjoy their sweetness as much as I do & thanks so kindly for stopping in for a visit!

Finding my way back to Simple treasures

Good Morning
Wow its been such a long long time since I have been on the Blogger world, and I find I am learning my way around once more.

I have been loving creating my Folk art Faeries over the last few years, going back to school and earning a diploma as a Master Herbalist and my first grandbaby  <3
But Now....
I'm trying to find my way back to creating the love of simple quality hand made treasures like I did way back when my babies were still in diapers :)
I'm tweaking some of the new art forms I've learned over the past several years, stepping back to the ones I've always loved and mingling them together to create my own unique style.
So
A touch of Prim, Shabby & Victorian is on the way!

Above is my new sweet little Annie Rose <3
She is that love~able Raggedy Ann that got me inspired to create dolls while my boys were growing up and I was a SAHM
Annie Rose is my own unique style of simple yet quality made... Detail and special touches...long hair...hand stitchin and painting and just the right amount of prim and shabby!

I Love the Victorian era of Crazy quilts, hand work & details and will be combining that with my love of the old and Primitive worn look.... stepping back is always the first step in moving forward :)

Here are some Crazy Quilted shabby prim heart ornies I've also been working on

Love the Victorian Flair mixed with that yummy prim coffee stain :)

Please Stop in and see my Etsy shoppe

Would love for you to visit!
ta~ta for now my friends

New Cottage Annies

It has been a few years since making my adorable Chic and oh so Romantic
Cottage Annies, but I have some in the makings and hope to list soon in my Etsy Shoppe :)
I went on a venture creating lovely Magical Faeries and didn't have time to create both loves.
I miss my romantic side and my love for simple cottage treasures and
have once again started creating the Rag Dolls I originally started making many years ago.
I have created a few new patterns and a few different sizes and each will be lovingly made with lots and lots of sweet Roses in their clothing and accessories.
It feels great to be back!

When Life throws Lemons :)

Hello it's been a long time :(

I have had great intentions to get back into sewing my dolls again, even have a few bodies started but when life throws you lemons sometimes you have to just relax for a little while.

I hope to start sewing a little more and

get back into the making dollies that make me smile and enjoy the little things in life.

Blessings,

Shannon
